BEACHES IN INDIA
India coastal starts from Gujarat from the west to Mumbai
- Mumbai to Goa - Goa to Kerala from there Tamilnadu,
Andra Prasad, Orrisa till West Bengal and not to forget
Andaman & Nicobar Islands and lakshadweep. So, India
has 100's of beaches from small to big - from popular
to isolated beaches. Some of the popular beaches in
India are:-

of Goa
North Goa Beaches - It makes 30 km stretch and includes
Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator,
Arambol etc. Out of these Calangute is called the queen
of beaches.
You can spend your vacation soaked in the serenity of
sea, sun and sand. You will find here the hippies busy
remembering their good old times and the young and old
alike lazing around in shacks.
South Goa Beaches - It includes
Vasco da Gama, Bogmalo, Velsao, Majorda, Varca, Colva,
Benaulim, Betul, Agonda, Palolem, Dona Paula etc.
Beaches of Kerala
Kovalam Beach - Just about 16 km from the capital
city of Kerala state, Thiruvanantha-puram (Trivandrum)
lies the internationally renowned beach Kovalam with
three adjacent crescent beaches. And yes, if you want
to get a tan fast , this is the most ideal place for
you under the tropical sun. The sea water here is very
clean and calm and thus ideal for sea bathing.
Varkala Beach - It is about 51 km north of Thiruvananthapuram
(Trivandrum) and is a calm and quite hamlet. Varkala
beach is very serene and is worth visiting. A 2000 years
old Lord Vishnu temple and the ashramam is situated
at a little distance from Varkala beach.
Marari Beach - This beach is
situated about 90 km from Cochin International Airport,
60 km from Cochin City, 12 km from Alleppey. Marari
offers endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by
swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience
the local charm and traditional Kerala Hospitality at
its best.
