Despite the Arabian Night atmosphere of centuries-old stone ramparts, wagon drawn by camels and men wearing bright turbans and curved pointed shoes, the camel safari through the Thar seems positively bustling.

The duration of Camel Safari in Rajasthan can vary from 4 days to 15 days. While taking up a camel caravan, you will encounter the warmth of hospitable villagers and ruins of historic forts and palaces of Rajasthan.

Best time of camel safari in Rajasthan Thar Deserts - Adventure tour of camel safari in the Thar desert of India is mostly organized in the winters (November to February) when the weather is good.

The summer of Rajasthan is almost unbearably hot and dry and so taking a camel safari during this time is not at all recommended.

Camel safari trip package - 4 to 5 days

Day 01 Jaisalmer - Ludharva - After breakfast start by camel from Jaisalmer in the heart of Thar for Badabagh. After lunch at Ramkunda reach Ludharva. Dinner and overnight at camp.

The caravan passes through villages with mud & stick houses with traditional decorative paintings and mirror works.

Day 02 Ludharva - Sand dunes - We shall travel to Peerwal and take lunch there. From there to Sand dunes. Passage through traditional village of former Rajput kings. Enjoy dinner, camp fire, traditional folk music and over night at Sand dunes.

Day 03 Sand dunes - Kuldhara - After breakfast start from Sand dunes to Kuldhara via Damodara, Beri of Kanoi. On the way you can see the typical Rajasthan.

Village ladies carrying water pots on their heads in colorful dresses and ornaments, men in colourful turbans. By seeing this you can visualize the past. Things have not much changed. We stay over night at Kuldhara.

Day 04 Kuldhara - Jaisalmer - (Back journey) We shall leave Kuldhara for Jaisalmer via Moolsagar and Amarsagar. Lunch on the way at Amarsagar. After this we proceed for Jaisalmer.
