GETTING TO KERALA, AROUND & AWAY
By Air - Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city
of the state tucked in the southern most side of the
state, has the only International Airport. Qartar Airways,
Gulf Air, SriLankan Airlines are a few International
Airlines connecting Thiruvananthapuram to Glasgow, Leeds,
London & Manchester.
Although this city is well connected to all the major
Indian cities by domestic airlines. Those starting their
Kerala trip with world renowned Kovalam beach should
definitely take this airport as there first landing
place in Kerala. Those interested only in Munnar or
the backwater zone of Cochin-Aleppy-Kottayam can also
take Cochin Airport as their landing point.
By Road - Those who want to
opt for roadways can enter Kerala from Madurai after
finishing the tour of South India covering Chennai-
Mahabalipuram- Kancheepuram- Madurai. After entry in
Kerala one can choose Munnar-Periyar-Thekaddy &
then northward to the backwater zone. Drive by deluxe
cars to Kerala will be fascinating as the greenery and
the landscape is worth seeing.
By Railways - Thiruvananthapuram
and Cochin in Kerala are well connected to major Indian
cities by railways.
Once in Kerala, the best way to tour is to take a taxi
and move about. Kerala in itself has all the natures
gifts such as good beaches, Hill station and backwaters
which is unique in itself. Apart from it one can take
up Ayurvedic treatment of rejuvenation and relaxation
here. That is the reason it is rightly called 'God's
own country'.

after Kerala visit, you can make from Thiruvananthapuram
International Airport or else you can take up domestic
flight to other place as per your itinerary. Outbound
domestic flights can also be taken from Cochin Airport
also.
