Day-02 - The ride starts from
Hadinaru after breakfast to Suttur, a place famous for
its mutt (a religious institution). The mutt is governed
be a swamiji (a religious head)
Day-03 - The ride heads to Nanjangud,
a holy place famous for the huge Nanjundeswara temple.
It is believed that the sage Gauthama stayed here for
some time and installed a linga, the idol form of lord
Shiva. Nanjangud is also known as " Dakshina Kashi"
or Varanasi of the South.
Day-04 - Return to Mysore where
the safari ends.
Important note -
a) The package includes -
- Stay in Deluxe tents on twin sharing basis. Separate
baths & toilets
- All applicable meals including picnic lunch on
certain long rides.
- Jeep with refreshments and First Aid to meet
at regular intervals.
- English speaking riding escorts and guides
- Extra horses for larger groups, entertainment
by local folk artists, bullock cart ride and mineral
water on Safari.
b) Duration of Safari can be extended
to 6 to 8 days on demand.
c) The average distance covered every day is 25 - 35
kms.
d) The tourists are requested to bring along a light
sweater /jacket for evenings and boots. A pair of binocular
is must.
e) The itineraries and routs offered are subject to
change by the management without prior notice, depending
on conditions.
