Trip Itinerary -
Day-01( Wednesday) Check in at Delhi Cantonement
Railway station at 15.30 hrs. foralace On Wheels (POW)
train to Jaipur which starts at 18.30 hrs. Dinner on
Board.
Day-02 Arrival at Jaipur, the capital city of
Rajasthan. Breakfast on Board and the whole day at Jaipur
sightseeing. Lunch at Palace hotel in Jaipur. After
the city tour, the luxury buses will take you to the
railway station for boarding the Palace on Wheels(POW)
around 18.30 hrs which will take us overnight to Jaisalmer
where we reach in the morning. Dinner on Board.
Day-03 Arrival at Jaisalmer situated in the heart
of the Thar desert at around 8.15 hrs. Breakfast on
Board and sightseeing afterwards. Back to POW by luxury
buses for Lunch and rest. Evening you will be taken
for an exciting camel ride on the Sand dunes of Sam.
Enjoy the dinner accompanied by a cultural programme
at a hotel in Jaisalmer. The train will leave for the
next destination Jodhpur at 23 hrs.
Day-04 In the morning you will reach Jodhpur
and after breakfast on Board you will take luxury buses
for sightseeing and take lunch at a heritage hotel.
Evenings are reserved for shopping. Departure at 15.30
hrs. for the next destination Sawai Madhopur.
Day-05 Early morning we arrive at Sawai Madhopur
at 4.00 hrs. but do not worry you don't have to get
down the train as for the cruise this luxury train is
you house. After breakfast (which can also be served
after the visit to the park depending upon the convenience
of the guests) we shall leave in buses for Ranthambhor
National Park where you can enjoy the life of wilderness.
The park has an area of about 392 sq.kms and is home
to around 300 species of birds. Among the other animals
you will find tigers, hyena, jackal, foxes etc.
We shall depart from Sawai Madhopur at about 10.30 hrs.
in POW and head towards Chittaurgarh. After the lunch
on Board & seeing the colourful countryside in the
day light you will reach Chittaurgarh at about 16 hrs.
Evening we shall see the famous Chittaurgarh Fort. Dinner
& overnight at POW. POW will remain overnight at
Chittaurgarh only.
Day-06 After breakfast on Board we shall head
towards Udaipur in luxury buses. Udaipur is also called
the city lakes. Luxury coaches will again take you back
to Chittaurgarh in the evening for POW. We shall leave
today for Bharatpur which takes us overnight.
Day-07(Tuesday) We shall arrive Bharatpur at
about 6.30 hrs. and after breakfast we shall go for
sightseeing in and around Bhartapur. After this at about
11.45hrs we shall depart on POW for Agra and arrive
Agra at 14.30 hrs. Rest of the day will be involved
in sightseeing at Agra. POW will start in the night
at 23 hrs. for Delhi Cantonment Railway station and
where you reach next morning at about 6.00 hrs.
What the above lavish journey cost
you-
Cost per person on single occupancy basis = US $ 3800
Cost per person on double occupancy basis = US $ 2900
Cost per person on triple occupancy basis = US $ 2450
Children between 5 years to 12 years will be charged
extra @ 50% of that of the adult tariff. Moreover there
is an additional surcharge of 10% during Christmas and
New Year.
