GLIMPSES OF SOUTH INDIA
It will be more appropriate to call it the southern
part of India than calling it simply South India as
it is done for ease to understand. This part of India
is separated from the northern part of India by the
Vindhya mountain range. Surrounded by ocean on the three
sides this region is full of grandeur and pristine beauty.
This zone has everything to offer on a tour to India.
The lush green tropical vegetation in the coastal areas
and the Nilgiri hills, the virgin sea beaches, the backwaters
and the rich culture, primeval architecture- this zone
has everything for tourists on tours to India. The Dravidian
civilization, as it developed here, still is at the
core in spite of foreign influences.
As the southern culture evolved years before the states
of southern part of India were made, there lies a major
similarity in the culture and the lifestyle of the people
here and thus the zone is sometimes mistakenly or otherwise
called "South India".
India tours is never complete without a trip to the
backwaters of the Arabian sea, without touring the ruins
of Hampi, a World Heritage Center, of the 14th century
lying scattered in about 28 square km. area amidst giant
boulders and vegetation silently narrating the story
of grandeur splendor & fabulous wealth.
Tours to India is also not complete
without indulging into Yoga and meditation in the serene
calmness of Pondicherry. Tours in India can never be
imagined without traveling the above places of tourist
interest which this part of India has to offer. You

India is an unfolding drama and surely you will develop
an abiding passion for it. It is advisable not to forget
