The state of Tamil Nadu has a number of hill stations
but most famous of them are Kodaikanal(called Kodai
in short) and Udhagamandalam(also famous as Ooty).
Kodaikanal - Kodaikanal is one
of the most popular serene hill stations in India situated
in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in the Pali
Hills. This hill town is renowned in India for having
educational Institutions of international repute. The
Kodiakanal Lake and the Golf Club are the places of
recreation. Boating, angling facilities are available
in the lake.

Best time to visit - Although the climate is pleasant
throughout the year but the best time to visit is during
October to February.
How to reach -
Air - The nearest airport is Maduari at a distance
of 120-kms which in turn is connected to most of the
domectic airlines.
Road - It is well connected by raodways to Chennai(
525-kms), Ooty (246-kms), Coimbatore (175-kms) and Madurai
(120-kms). Taxis on hire are available.
